تقرير الاتصال الوطنى
      يشارك المعمل المركزى فى اعداد تقرير الإتصال الوطنى الثانى لمصر كممثل عن وزراة الزراعة و استصلاح الأراضى. و يمثل المعمل أحد مكونات مركز البحوث الزراعية المعنية بصورة أساسية بإجراء أبحاث تغير المناخ و الزراعة، حيث يتوافر به عدد من الخبراء بهذا المجال.

آليات الاتفاقية الإطارية للتغيرات المناخية::
يعمل الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمود مدنى كمراجع دولى لتقارير حصر انبعاثات غازات الاحتباس الحرارى.

الهيئة الحكومية الدولية المعنية بتغير المناخ
ساهم كل من الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمود مدنى ككاتب رئيسى و سمر الطاهر ككاتبة مساهمة فى إعداد الفصل التاسع (الخاص بأفريقيا) من تقرير مجموعة العمل الثانية المشارك بتقرير التقييم الرابع للهيئة الحكومية الدولية للتغيرات المناخية، و الذى صدر فى نوفمبر 2007.
